Access

Each day, Centro de Enlace makes appointments and referrals for clients to access services.

The Center’s Equal Access Equal Success Program provided over 1200 services in the past 12 months, helping Latinos access basic health, legal, and social services!

Centro de Enlace helps hundreds of Latino immigrants each year to successfully navigate life in the U.S.

Through our Equal Access Equal Success Program, promotoras facilitate access to all types of services including basic health, housing, legal and social services. Promotoras, or community outreach workers, are common in Mexico as medical outreach workers. Our promotoras deliver services in as many different areas as there are needs in the community, empowering clients to manage their own family financial, medical, legal, or other affairs by assuring that clients are informed and able to understand and communicate.

Our referral, information, interpretation, and translation services make it possible for community agencies and service providers to communicate and for providers to fulfill their obligations.  The center’s successful collaborations with key local health and human service agencies continue to strengthen services, close gaps, and make services more responsive to Latino’s health, financial, and family needs.

As part of our effort to encourage community economic

development, Centro de Enlace offers Business and Employment Information Services to new and established Latino businesses to start and maintain small business to individuals seeking work. The center connects local Latino businesses to the resources they need to navigate the business world. The center also serves as a communication center for those needing work and those offering work.

Centro de Enlace’s Membership Cards have opened doors that were closed after the 2006 driver license law changes.  Our photo ID offers evidence of who our members are and where they live.  The Center is diligent in requiring proof of identity as well as residence.  To learn more and get involved, click here.
